Notes From The Board

July 9, 2009

We need fans for the class rooms the kids rehearse in--there is no air conditioning in that part of the building. If you can loan us one, please write your name on it with a marker or tie a name tag on it so we know who to return it to. Thank you.

We are in need of powder eye shadows and disposable makeup applicators (the ones that look like Q-tips). Thank you.

Thank you to everyone who came to see "Once Upon A Wolf". It was fantastic! If you didin't get to see it, you really missed something. It was so well received at the other three places we performed it, we are thinking of taking it on the road.

The Riversharks game was great. Our team even won. The kids performed beautifully and sounded terrific! The fireworks were outstanding, and we all had a great time!

We just gave out forms to get sponsors to help support WDLT. PLEASE do your best to seek out sponsors. This is something you do not have to donate yourself, it is tax deductible, and we really need the support to be able to continue.

I know it seems as if we are having one fundraiser after another, but with today's economy people have to pick and choose what they can donate toward. If our initial fundraisers did great, then we wouldn't have to have so many. Unfortunately, that is not the case; so we are trying as many different types of fundraisers we can think of. First was the jewelry, then Riversharks. The candle fundraiser is due this Friday. I hope we make some on that. Next is the auction baskets during the plays, then the dance, then Spirit Night at Chick-fil-A (everyone has to eat dinner and they are reasonably priced), and possibly cheesecakes.

The Chick-fil-A cow will be here on Friday 7/17 at noon. Please come in and say "Hi" when you pick up the children. Please attend WDLT Spirit Night at Chick-fil-A. It is important to show our support.
THANK YOU !!

Fourth of July Parade

June 28, 2009

Thank you to all those who participated in the wonderful parade last Sunday in National Park. You represented Little Theatre beautifully and we were very proud of the outstanding effort put forth by all involved. Katie, Kristina, and Brett are outstanding leaders and have really started our 36th summer theatre season off in style. Keep up the good work.
